Umar Akmal Test, ODI and T20 Career and Best Records

Umar Akmal was born 26 May 1990 in Lahore, Pakistan. Umar Akmal made his ODI start on 1 August 2009 vs Sri Lanka. He made his Test start vs New Zealand on 23 November 2009. He is a right - handed batsman and a part- time spinner.
He was announced as a franchise player for the inaugural Caribbean Premier League along side Pakistani teammates Mohammad Hafeez and Shoaib Malik.
Umar Akmal is the youngest brother of Adnan Akmal and Kamran Akmal who are also cricketer.
Umar show Pakistan in the 2008 U/19 Cricket World Cup in Malaysia. He is an aggressive style cricketer. In only his sixth first class match he smashed 248 off just 225 deliveries.
He fared less well in his second season of first class cricket, with a string of low scores batting at number 3. He found from in the final few matches of the 2008-09 and then in the RBS T20 tournament and getting the selectors nod to play for Pakistan A side on their to Australia.
Umar Akmal hit 129 runs from 160 balls becoming only the second to score a 100 on start away from home. This feat made him 1st Pakistani batsman. The inning was noted as special due to Pakistan's tough position in the match.
Umar Akmal early success was briefly tarnished by controversy during Pakistan's 2009-10 tour of Australia. Umar denied such rumors and played in the final match with his brother.
In an interview, Umar said "My own dream is to one day play for Pakistan along side Kamran and I am working had to try and achieve that goal" Akmal was selected in Pakistan for the One day International vs Sri Lanka in 2009. Having missed out on the first ODI Umar made his start in second match.
In only his second career ODI Umar second his maiden ODI fifty. Umar match winning effort he was awarded his first career Man of the Match award. He played two good inning. His not out against Wast Indies was a match winning know and landed him his second career Man of the Match award.
The result of choosing the less accomplished gloves man was that in the fist two matches Umar Akmal missed opportunities to dismiss Ravi Bopara and Alastair Cookearly in their inning, and they respectively went on to score a half century and a century.

Pakistani cricket player Shoib Akhtar
Shoib Akhtar a Pakistani cricket player and knowing as one of the fastest bowler in modern cricket. He was born in a small town near Rawalpindi, Punjab in Pakistan. He belong to a Gurjar Kasana Community. He made his Test debut in November 1997 and played his 1st ODI four month later. he played on Pakistani's Cricket Team as an attacking fast bowler. His batting style is right-handed batsman and bowling style is right-arm fast bowler. He got his early education from Elliott High School, Morgah and then took admission in the Asghar Mall College, Rawalpindi. After that, for further education he moved to Karachi along with his family. Akhtar's run of impressive performance started in the 1990's. In 1999, during a pre- World Cup series against India, he rose to prominence. It was followed by outstanding bowling performance in Sharjah and later in 1999 Cricket World Cup. Beside this, in India (1999), his performance was most significant when capture 8 wickets in the Asia Test championship match at Calcutta-including the wickets of Indian batsmen Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar when he bowled both batsmen off successive deliveries. It was the 1st ball he ever bold to Tendulkar.
In 2002, Shoib Akhtar was selected for the Pakistani team against Australia and achieved success. However he performed poorly during the 2003 Cricket World Cup. after the tournament he was drooped from the Pakistan squad. Shoaib Akhtar was selected back into the Pakistan cricket team in 2004 test match series vs New Zealand, but struggled in a losing test series vs India in 2004. The series ended with a controversy when he left the field citing an injury leading to suspicions by former Pakistan caption, Inzamam-ul-Haq, about his commitment to the team. As a result, his relationship with Inzamam-ul-Haq and famous Pakistan cricket coach Bob Woolmer deteriorated. A medical panel was set up by the Pakistan cricket board to investigate the nature of his injury, however Pakistan officials dispelled all suspicions. Shoaib has been involved in several controversies during his career, often accused of not being a team player but Shoaib presence was always felt by the opponents. He was sent home between the test match series in Australia in 2005 for alleged poor attitude. A year later, Shoaib was embroiled in drug scandal after testing positive to a banned substance. However , the ban imposed on him was lifted on court appeal. In September 2007, He was banned for an indefinite period for his fight with Pakistan cricket teammate and fast bowler Mohammed Asif . On April 2008 he was banned for 5 years for public criticizing the Pakistan cricket board. In October 2008, the Lahore high court in Pakistan suspended the 5 year ban and Shoaib was selected in the fifteen- man squad for the T20 Quadrangular tournament in Canada. Pakistan judge Rana Bhaqwandas once stated that Shoaib is a legend of Pakistan cricket team. Shoaib retired from international cricket after the 2011 World cup. He is one of the fastest bowlers in cricket history. Shoaib has a number of fast bowling records. Shoaib has bowled at speed of 161.3 kph, 160 kph 3x, 159 kph & 158.4 kph. The fastest 3 were vs New Zealand in 2002 & the other 3 were vs Sri Lanka in 2002 also. Shoaib was the first bowler in the history of cricket to have been recorded to bowl over 100 mph, though there were suggestions that others may have achieved the feat prior to the speed being recorded.
